Family Care Support Services Inc.
We are hiring a Care Support Specialist to help clients achieve independence and engage in their communities. You will support individuals during outings, appointments, and daily activities while helping them build confidence and self-advocacy skills.
What you’ll do
- Support clients during community outings and appointments
- Assist with socialization and independent living goals
- Help individuals access community resources and activities
- Document progress and communicate with the support team
- Encourage confidence, self-advocacy, and independence
What you’ll bring
- Dependability, organization, and ability to work independently
- Strong communication, patience, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to think creatively and produce solutions
- Ability to support individuals in community and recreational settings
- Multilingual skills (highly valued)
- Experience in caregiving, social services, behavioral support, education, or healthcare (preferred but not required)
Pay and benefits
$22 per hour. Flexible scheduling.
